Be it Nobel with its splendour, the Old Town with its medieval grace, Skansen with its diversity or Vasa with its authenticity, it would be my pleasure to be your guide along the way. My goal is to inform, entertain and above all impress so you leave beautiful Stockholm with a yearning to return and do it all over again! I’m a well travelled Swedish Canadian who has called Stockholm home for the last 30 years. My diploma from my Licensed Stockholm Guide accreditation proudly hangs beside my Bachelor of Commerce and Masters in Business Administration degrees. Experienced guide, working for many years with one of Sweden’s largest global industrial companies. Now combining my love of Stockholm with my love for guiding.. English is my mother tongue. Swedish is a close second. Spanish in third place. I understand both French and German well but the conversation level is rather rusty.. When not guiding guests around our beautiful city, I can be found on Söder with Alfred, my golden retriever, in Gamla Stan dancing Flamenco , improving my Bridge or visiting one of Stockholm’s 100 plus museums.. If you have plans for visiting our lovely city, let me know! I can help you tick the boxes you already have or supply you with those boxes. We can walk it, bus it, metro it, boat it or drive in style - up to you.. Let's get planning!

Pressed for time or maybe you just want some orientation, this tour can be for you if: 1. You and your crew have limited time but want to get a peek of this beautiful city and learn what is so special about it. 2. You and your crew really prefer to discover your destinations on your own but delight in some orientation from someone who knows which direction you should take next. The program covers the Vasa Museum and the Old Town with a ferry ride and fika (the sweet part) thrown in for good measure. Your chatty guide (me) will also provide a running commentary giving you insight into history, culture, politics and maybe some foodie stuff! Once again - you decide on the scope and I will provide the content!
This tour is all inclusive which means the entrance fees, public transportation and fika are included. - Our starting point is the Vasa Museum where we learn why the warship Vasa landed on the bottom of the harbour on its maiden voyage of 1628. We are oddly happy about this and you will understand why. - Continuing to the ferry for a quick trip across said harbour and a great look of this lovely city from the water. - Fika time with a Kanelbulle ( Cinnamon Bun or your choice) med Kaffe - important Swedish refuelling ritual. - Now we set out to discover what Stockholm has been up to over the last 1000 years. Up and down the cobblestone streets of the historically main island of Stockholm's 14 islands! - The tour comes to a close . You will leave with a good , if somewhat revised , understanding of Stockholm, Sweden and the Swedish people and a hand pointing you in the next direction if you like!
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
