Overview of your Stockholm tour
If you only have one day in Stockholm I'll make sure you make the most of it! You will not want to miss the Vasamuseum - an amazing warship that sank on her maiden voyage in 1628. After that we could continue to the open-air-museum Skansen which shows a Sweden in miniature and also shows Swedish wild animals such as moose, deer and brown bear. A good place for lunch as well. Djurgården is my favourite place in Stockholm it is the greenest island, a part of the National City Park, with vast areas of forest and open spaces. In the afternoon we could continue to the Swedish History Museum and visit the Gold Room or the Viking World, or we can visit the Royal Armoury and enjoy the royal coaches. Then we also have to visit Stockholm's Old town and walk on the charming cobblestoned streets!

We had an amazing day in Stockholm with Sofia! She met us at the cruise terminal and we took public transportation into the city. She is full of information and interesting facts and tailored the tour to our interests once she got to know us. Our favorites were the Skansen Open Air Museum and the Vasa Museum. At the end of the day she was kind enough to ride the bus with us back to the cruise terminal. I would highly recommend booking Sofia if you are in Stockholm.
