South Africa, what a lovely country of diverse flora, fauna, culture and history! I have a passion for this beautiful country, it's landscape's and scenery are one of the most beautiful in the world. South Africa has so much to offer, the wildlife and natural vegetation is so diverse, wild and bold. I love to show traveler's the " Off the beaten track" places in and around Cape Town and the surroundings on day trips or multi day trips. I am a qualified registered Tourist Guide for South Africa (registered to guide in all 9 PROVINCES) guide reg no:WC8777 with specialties in the Western Cape, Cape Town Environment and Cape Wine Industry. I have lived in South Africa for all of my life and have been very interested in the history and culture of our country and enjoy sharing my knowledge with other people. I enjoy working and compiling different day tours and itineraries to suit the individual and can work out a special tour to suit my travelers request. The routes that I use will show my guests different aspects of the countryside and also certain points of interest. Most of my tours include an authentic cultural experience from the places we visit to the food you indulge in, 'experience the heart and soul of Africa'. Each experience tells a story of Africa and it's diverse heritage, culture, natural wild life and beauty. I strive to deliver the best that is on offer, a unique, quality filled informative personal tour experience. My passion to becoming a Tourist guide started in 2009 when I first began studying for my Cultural Guiding Course and progressing to becoming a South African National Guide. I have set up a small Tour Operating Company which I also operate and take pride in. I am a great supporter of nature conservation especially the protection of endangered species, and I help in protecting our Rhino's, Elephants and Wildlife from being poached! I sponsor the penguin colony breeding shelters. I enjoy the amazing response that is shown from the tourist when they see the diverse wildlife and the awe inspiring moments of meeting the local culture, it is such a pleasure to share those moments and know they will definitely take these splendid memories back home with them, and to be part of that is just amazing! The best part of being a a local guide is conducting a private tour which is so personal and you will feel more comfortable if you have more insight about the guide before going on the tour with them. My tours are for solo travelers/families/ mature explorers and small groups, I will compile a tour to suit your needs and interests. You can also ' hang out with the locals" I can arrange an outing with the local's from shopping to eating with the local's. You can choose what you would enjoy doing on your tour or I can arrange a tour to suit your specific needs or you may also choose a tour on my profile which will suit your tour plans. Come and discover the treasures that our part of the world has to offer and let me take you on a journey to experience " THE ESSENCE OF AFRICA" with a local guide! - I am a qualified registered National Tourist Guide for South Africa. A visit to Cape Town should include the famous Table Mountain, it stands high above Cape Town almost guarding the " Mother City" this massive mountain is older than the Andes, the Alps, Rocky Mountains and the Himalayas. We explore this iconic natural wonder for a birds eye view and awesome photos of the "Mother City" from above then we are off to the beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens where you can view the back of Table Mountain too!! I just love showing you the little secrets in the gardens that you would miss when you walk on your own. The gardens have an awesome "Tree Canopy" which is built in the shape of the ' Boomslang" one of the snakes found mostly in the Western Cape Have you ever walked above the tree tops its an incredible feeling!
