The West Coast is a treasure trove of scenic beauty and naturally occurring wild flowers during our Spring season. (Aug & Sept) A meander up the West Coast is truly like a breath of fresh air, with a myriad of activities and endless scenic beauty, from delectable wines, cultural activities, incredible local hospitality and scrumptious local cuisine. As we say in South Africa "Local is lekker" (Local is nice!) This "off the beaten track" tour is absolutely perfect for those nature lovers, families & travel groups that prefer a more private and bespoke tour experience, not to mention a less touristy alternative, whilst still exploring all the li'l gems the beautiful Cape region has to offer! The benefit of this day out, is that it can be completely tailor made, whilst exploring all the rich cultural diversity and archeological gems of the area.
08h30 - Depart Cape Town and head in a northerly direction, up the West Coast 09h00 - enjoy a coffee stop on the endless white beaches, while taking in the magnificent sweeping views of Table Mountain in the distance 10h30 - enjoy a wonderful wine tasting at a local vineyard, best known for their cool climate Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz 12h30 - visit a local craft Brewery for a delectable tasting &/or lunch 14h00 Visit an authentic San Cultural museum It is important to note that this tour can be completely tailor made to include various other activities on the West Coast, including a boat cruise, an artisanal cheese tasting and tour &/or a visit to a fishing museum During our wild flower season (Aug/Sept) we will visit the West Coast National Park, which is carpeted in magnificent wild flowers, where you could also see an abundance of wildlife.
