Rich in the expertise of winemaking in Alsace, Champagne, Bordeaux and South Africa I am able to adapt my explanations for anyone to be able to understand wine in general and more specifically, South African wines. Note that the tour is made for any level of wine enthusiast, from beginners through to the wine connoisseur and explanations are adjusted according to the specific level of wine knowledge that the guests may hold. I am a very friendly and charming guide with the subtle French flair that I am accustomed too and will give you tricks on every day wine buying, enjoying and pairing. Though I have left winemaking for now, I still go to the Champagne region (where my knowledge of wine officially started) to assist with harvesting and vinification yearly. I look forward to taking you on this unique journey and experience with me. . . 2000-2002 Undergraduate level (BTS) in Wine-growing and oenology, Avize (Champagne) 1998 - 2000 Undergraduate level (BTS) with a major in commercialization techniques for drinks, wine and spirits, Rouffach (Alsace) 1998 Baccalaureate degree (equivalent A-level) in Sciences at " lycee poncelet", moselle, France None

- Pick-up at 9:00am, at your preferred location. - Head to heart of the South African wine industry, with both amazing scenery, as well as a long proud history in the art of wine-making. Our first stop at Glen Carlou, where consistency, expertise and a commitment to always deliver beyond expectation is what this estate strives for. Established in 1985, Glen Carlou is a relatively young estate which has built an enviable reputation as one of South Africa's leading producers. Enjoy a wine tasting and walk amongst the vines, followed by a gastronomic lunch. - We then drive to Avondale where we explore some organic and bio-dynamic wines, followed by a MCC's tasting Le Lude or should the guest have a specific winery request, we can also accommodate this. - Return to your accommodation around 18:00/18:30pm
