Meet Claudia — Your Local Connection to Cape Town Welcome to Cape Town! I’m Claudia, an American expat who has called South Africa home for 40 years and Cape Town for 35 of those years. As a registered Western Cape tourist guide, I love sharing the Cape I know and love — its spectacular scenery, fascinating history, diverse cultures, wonderful food and wine, and, most of all, its people. My tours are private, relaxed and personal. I don't believe in rushing from one attraction to another just to tick boxes. I want you to experience South Africa at your own pace, with time to explore, ask questions, take photographs and enjoy the moment. Whether we're exploring the Cape Peninsula, discovering the colourful Bo-Kaap and historic District Six, experiencing Langa, meeting the penguins at Boulders Beach, or enjoying the Winelands, I'll share the stories and local insights that bring each place to life. I also love creating tailor-made experiences beyond Cape Town, including the spectacular whale coast of Hermanus, the scenic West Coast and the Garden Route — perfect for travellers who want to venture further and experience South Africa beyond the usual highlights. After years of welcoming travellers from around the world, one of my greatest compliments is hearing that guests felt they had spent the day with a knowledgeable local friend rather than simply taking a tour. Credentials: I am a registered tourist guide in the Western Cape and can guide tourists along the Garden Route as far as Port Elizabeth. My car, a Toyota Fortuner SUV, is fully licensed and registered, has an NPTR Operating Licence, and is insured for personal liability. I hold the required PDP driver's licence. My First Aid certificate is current. I have completed an Introductory Course in Wine Appreciation. I am a proud member of the CTGA - Cape Town Tourist Guides Association.

Two and half days of Elegance, Estate Excellence and Culinary Delight. Escape into the heart of South Africa's premier wine country with this exclusive two-day experience through the rolling vineyards and storied estates. Designed for the discerning traveller, this journey blends refined flavours, architectural charm and serene landscapes of unrivalled beauty. The flexibility to change the itinerary to visit other wine estates can be happily accommodated.
Your Cape Town tour itinerary
Day 1: June 9th - We will start early at 08:00h, heading for Stettyn Family Wine in the Worcester wine region. This will be a scenic two-hour drive from Cape Town. The next area will be the Franschhoek Wine Valley, where we will base ourselves for two nights. Two wine estates to choose from are Fairview in Paarl and Boschendal wine estate, which are just on the outskirts of Franschhoek. Day 2. On 10 June, the day will include visiting Baylonstoren Wine Estate, which features stunning gardens and wine and cheese pairings. Next up, Tokara Estate features world-class wines, art & sculpture, and olive groves on top of a scenic mountain pass. Day 3 - 11 June: Early departure from Franschhoek to visit De Trafford's exclusive wine estate in the Helderberg Mountains with rich granite soils. Time permitting, we will fit in a second wine estate en route to the airport for your International Flight departure.
