Cape Town Full Day Tour (Shore excursion)

We did a two-day tour of Cape Town with during a cruise stop. South Africa is now firmly on our come-back-to list. The ship was delayed for many days due to weather, with docking uncertain for a while. Even when we arrived, we couldn’t dock for hours. Clive was calm, reassuring, and flexible throughout. Marianne cancelled other plans to take us when we finally got ashore. She’s the nicest guide we’ve had—flexible, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. Between us we planned the two days around the weather: first a full tour of Cape Town, then all the sights down to Cape Point and back. With Marianne’s knowledge and connections, we saw and did things we couldn’t have managed on our own. Cape Town is an intriguing place, and thanks to Marianne, we got to know it far better than we would have otherwise. Thank you, Marianne and Clive.

Clive F. is an outstanding 5 Star Tour Guide. Actually, we would like to give him a 10 Star rating if we could. Clive is extremely knowledgeable and very flexible. He expertly helped us plan our tour before we even left home. Clive was very flexible while we were driving around the greater Cape Town area. Clive was a wonderful guide, I requested to see and do certain things and he was so accommodating. He selected a beautiful winery estate for lunch and the food and wine were wonderfulHe gave a good commentary on Capetown and was a super driver on the roads around Tabletop Mountain.I was so pleased and a stress free day! PUBLIC comment here. Please consider only the factors that were within the guide's control. You should not lower the rating for things like bad weather, ship late docking, etc

I let Clive know I had already spent 2 weeks in Cape Town on a prior vacation so I was looking for something just a little "different." The suggestions Clive presented were the best and made for a most memorable day in the Cape Town area! We visited the Khwa ttu Cultural Center. If you have not been - GO!! He also arranged a lunch reservation on the ocean w/beautiful views of Table Mountain, a visit to the MOCAA museum, and a cooking lesson in Cape Malay cuisine. What a fabulous day - thanks Clive!

Clive changed our schedule around since we had tours for three days. We were able to do just about all of Cape Town. If you want to see this area then Clive is the guide for you. The 5 stars are well warrented.
