I am a registered private tourist guide for the Western Cape (South Africa) - (WC4682). I was the first South African registered to guide in Russian, but that doesn't exclude me from doing your tour in English or Afrikaans (for the Dutch or Flemish). I was born in Namibia (South West Africa) lived all over South Africa and fell in love with the Garden Route and know it like the back of my hand. I also travelled extensively through Russia, parts of the former Soviet Union and Southern Africa. All of this comes out as part of my guiding. My approach to guiding is not to lecture people and give them boring dates, but to make friends and to show my new found friends this amazing place I live in!!! I have realised that the touring world has changed from the days where people sit on a bus being taken from one fake tourist spot to another. . . When I travel I want to connect with the locals and want to see what life is like, while at the same time still getting those "must see sights" in. As a guide/ friend/ host. . . I am learning to find this balance and I also know that each visitor is unique. So, please feel free to tell me what you like and what you don't like. I can do bigger groups, but always prefer smaller, more intimate groups where I can build relationships and make the experience more personal. After a tour with me, hopefully you will agree that I am not your stereotypical tourist guide!!! As registered Private Guide for the Western Cape, South Africa I was the vice chair person for the Cape Tourist Guides Association. I have been doing private tours in the Cape since 2008. Before becoming a tourist guide I studied Missions with Operation Mobilization and worked with orphans in Russian (Siberia) for many years. Initially I studied electronics and computers and ran my own business in this field, but soon realized I need to be working with people. I am licensed to guide in English, Russian and Afrikaans for all of the Western Cape and the town of Port Elizabeth. I have a professional driver permit and am allowed to drive if the tour has 10 or less people.

This is the "day trip" transport to one of the local Private Game Reserve. You have two lodges to chose from: Aquila Private Safari or Inverdoorn. These both have the Big5 and are recommended for those that do not have the opportunity to go to one of the bigger national parks. (Please note that this transfer can also be done for bigger groups. Please request a price. )
This is a suggested itinerary as times might change due to availability at the Game Reserve. 07:00 Pick up at Hotel 08:30 Pit-stop for a cup of coffee 09:30 Arrive at Game Reserve 10:00 Game drive begins 13:00 Return from Game Drive and sit down for Lunch 14:00 Relax by the Pool 15:00 Depart for Cape Town 17:30 Arrive back at your Hotel (If need be, we can depart earlier from the reserve. All depending on your preferences. )
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
Depending on the group size we will use either the sedan or mini bus. All our vehicles are modern, fresh and air-conditioned.
