Clive asked Marianne to run this tour for him. Wow she was the best , we did everything we wanted and more, she had amazing amounts of knowledge and took us places we did not know existed. She was very attentive, friendly and very easy to get on with. We were most happy with the tour and would recommend without hesitation.
We had a spectacular tour with Clive's associate Leisel. Clive was ill so he arranged for Leisel to show us the highlights of Capetown, Bo Kaap, the Castle, statues of important persons in Capetowns history, the Cape of Good Hope, St Simon's where the penguin colony is thriving, Groot Constacia for lunch. We highly recommend Leisel, she has an in depth knowledge of the history of Capetown as well as current events. A very nice introduction to Capetown.
I would give Clive 6 stars! if I could. For us as experienced travelers, this was an incredibly interesting day — that covered very poignant aspects of S.A.'s history,, its current political mess and then fun stuff like the penguins and delicious seafood at a simple beachside restaurant. But the breadth of his knowledge is far greater than "usual". His own life covers many international experiences. Also he had a great driver which we liked —and then had Clive's full attention the whole time
Clive did a great job. He is very knowledgeable and shared a lot. He took us to the main sights around Cape Town and the bays
Clive took us down to the Point ine direction and back another direction so that we could really see the sights. The scenery is spectacular. We say everything as advertised plus more. You get a real feel for South Africa on this tour. If you want the best book this tour with Clive.
Clive was an excellent guide and very knowledgable while also giving us space and time for walks and meals alone as a family, giving the day a good balance. Great variety over two days, one in the winelands and one at the Cape where he gave us great tips for walks and things to do with our time on other days. All in all, we would thoroughly recommend him.

The appointed rest areas offer the opportunity to take photographs of the sheer cliffs and breath-taking seascapes. During whale season, July-November you might be lucky enough see Southern Right whales.
