discovered guiding by chance while working as a conference organiser, showing international speakers around. I quickly realised this is what I truly enjoy and what suits my personality, and I have loved welcoming visitors ever since. For me, guiding is not a typical 9-to-5 job, it’s a way of life and a chance to share my passion for this beautiful city and its surroundings. I offer classic “must-see” tours, but I also tailor experiences to your interests, profession, and pace. Many guests say it feels like visiting a friend, as I take the time to understand what matters most to you and plan accordingly—avoiding traffic, long queues, and unnecessary stops. I also organise airport transfers when possible, which helps me get to know you and make the most of your time and the weather during your stay. Food is an important part of the experience. I introduce you to authentic local flavours, including traditional African dinners, always choosing genuine places rather than crowded tourist spots. I am deeply involved in community work, especially with children in underprivileged areas, and I’m happy to share this side of Cape Town with guests who are interested. Larger groups are welcome, though they require additional planning and a suitable vehicle. If you need advice on hotels, please ask. I look forward to welcoming you to my Cape Town, the best city in the world.

Cape Town and the peninsula are spectacular wrt flora, funa, animals and the history of the area. The Peninsula is far larger than most people think from looking at a map. The little suburbs of Cape Town spread around the Table Mountain range all have their own unique characteristics which we will explore as we travel through them. The variety of animals is also large and can depend on the season (eg whales). Some examples are (naughty) baboons, penguins, a Dassie (Rock Hyrax), ostriches, eland, to name a few. What is also fairly unique is being able to see the Two Oceans at one time. We will see the Atlantic and Indian Oceans together and apart at various times on this trip. All tours can be customised to client's needs and areas of focus and interest.
- Pick up at hotel - Drive south to Kalk Bay for "breakfast" - Simonstown and Boulders Penguins (R245) - Cape Point Nature Reserve(R515 + R110) - Lunch and dessert (pudding) - Chapmans Peak drive - Atlantic Seaboard - Back to your hotel
