Born on the Cape Flats (Cape Town), South Africa and had working class Grandparents (Grand-Pa was Jewish/German and Irish) & (Grand-Ma was Scottish/Khoisan) origin, parents to my Mother; My Father had English/Slave mixture parents. District-6 was where it all started and people were later moved to the Cape Flats area South East of the city. I grew up in tough areas on the Cape Flats where gangsterism just started changing the environment, but I was fortunate to attend a good English School and had an academic study which stood me in good stead. That is where the Tourist will be of value in securing future sites for these animals to live in their natural environments.
