Overview of your Cape Town tour
The Garden Route is known for its abundant indigenous fynbos and marine plant life. With its Goldilocks temperate climate, Oceanic to be exact you will find the weather some of the best year-round in South Africa. Highlighting the tour is a relaxed 5-hour scenic coastal drive from Cape Town to George. Basing ourselves in Knysna or George is a perfect location when accessing the abundant activities and day trips to Knysna Lagoon, The Featherbed Nature Reserve, the Knysna Heads, Tsitsikamma Forest, the Wilderness Nature Reserve at Storms River, the Elephant Sanctuary, Monkeyland & Bird Sanctuaries and so much more in the surrounding towns of Plettenburg Bay, Sedgefield, and Keurboomsrivier. Extending the tour with a few additional days would include Oudtshoorn - Ostrich Farm area and the Cango Caves or drive as far as Port Elizabeth. This is a 4-day tour with eight hours per day guiding & driving. Dinner transfers are not inclusive but on a request basis. I will happily accommodate requests after hour
Your Cape Town tour itinerary
Pick up from the agreed location. Day 1 -Drive along the Garden Route departing from Cape Town on the N2 (travel time to Knysna is +/-5. 5hours). Options to stop along the way at the various scenic viewpoints with our final destination as a base in Knysna. This is flexible depending on your preferences. Stay 2-3 nights accommodation in Knysna booked prior to the commencement of the trip. We will use Knysna as our base for day trips that are within 1hour to 1. 5 hours away by car. Explore Knysna the afternoon of arrival and relax. All meals for your own expense. Day 2 -Take in 1 or 2 activities of your choice within the area. Excursions are diverse and I am happy to assist with recommendations. Activities are additional to tour prices. Transport to the activities. Day 3 -Explore the area nearby Knysna - Wilderness, Sedgefield, Plettenberg Bay, Tsitsikamma National Park Day 4 -Return to Cape Town OR drop-off can be arranged to accommodate you in George or Port Elizabeth.
