I grew up in Oaxaca and have lived here most of my life. In between I had the opportunity to study economics and languages. Staying for 4 years outside Mexico gave me a new view from my country and a greater understanding and appreciation of the cultural richness of Mexico. I do enjoy sharing this knowledge with visitors and like to encourage conversation, and answer questions any one has about Mexico's history and actual life. I do believe that conveying accurate information to my guests is a very important factor to appreciate my land. I am used to design and perform personal or private tours. This takes you to a beautiful, natural and stunning landscapes, just an memorable experience of the this incredible site. The geological formation of the Petrified Waterfalls of Hierve el Agua (Boiling water) Area surrounded by an extraordinary beautiful landscape where we do a light hiking around the site and you can swim in the pools, if you wish. Then we will visit the 'Stone Lace' decorated Mixtec palaces of Mitla, and finally we will go to Teotitlán del Valle, where wool woven carpets and rugs are made. This is the most successful and appreciated handicraft from Oaxaca. Your Oaxaca tour itinerary
We start our tour going directly to the Petrified Waterfalls of Hierve el Agua (Boiling water) To see these structures, we need to do a hike that takes about one hour of walking down and up the place. At the end we go to the swimming pools where you can swim if you wish to. The we will have our meals.
