Getting to know any country is worth starting with a visit to its capital and I would like to offer you a walking tour of Valletta. Starting from the magnificent view of the Grand Harbour from the Upper Barrakka gardens, we will walk around the city, stopping near the majestic palaces and churches (we can visit some of them) and I will tell you the history of the Order of the Hospitaliers - it was the knights of this Order who built today's capital of Malta. Let's try to go back several hundred years and we will try to imagine, how knights and their faithful squires walked along these streets and squares and beautiful ladies rode in carriages. The tour of Valletta will not be complete without a visit to St. John's Co-Cathedral with its famous rich décor and one of Caravaggio's last works - "Beheading of St. John".
During this tour, we will see some of the most beautiful places, such as: 1. Upper Barrakka Gargens 2. Auberge de Castille 3. Auberge d'Italy 4. Triton Fountain 5. St. John's Co-Cathedral 6. Grand Master's Palace The itinerary is flexible, for any changes please let me know.
