Essential Malta Full Day Tour with Private Guide

This was an exceptional tour with Alfred. He picked us up on time and while touring around Valletta, he was able to point out all the sights and talk to us because he had a driver, which made it very easy for us to communicate and interact with him. His knowledge of Valletta was unending. He had researched some private questions we had had for him and shared that information with us which was exciting. The tour of the medieval city was just spectacular! The tour lasted the entire day and we have so many great memories. Alfred was the best, and we can't imagine anyone having the the depth of knowledge that he did since he had lived there all his life.

Great tour for an overview of Malta Our guide Alfred was excellent as well as a native born Maltese citizen. Super knowledgeable about Malta’s history. Unlike other places in the world that are old, the Maltese built buildings back in the 15 hundreds and they are still in modern use!

We were in Malta for the beginning of a cruise and wanted to see more of the Island than what the cruise company would show us, so we went a day early and booked an all-day tour with Albert. We reviewed with Albert where the cruise company was going to take us and he adjusted his itinerary so that we didn't duplicate things. He and his driver, Ray, took us to most of the main sights. He was very knowledgeable and Ray was a good driver and very polite. They were both good people to be with. He took us to a small restaurant for lunch that had very good food. That was nice and special for me. While we saw many things, the most interesting to me was the caves where people lived during the bombing of Malta in World War II (in Rabat). If you’re going to fly all the way to Malta, I recommend you do a private tour to see more of the island. While the cruise company took us to a few places, it wasn’t much. We would have missed a lot of Malta without the extra day tour. And I highly recommend Albert and Ray for that private tour.
