After your hotel/port pick up, we will discover the best of the island of Malta in 7 hours. Unless specifically requested, we usually desist from too much walking and avail ourselves all the more of the available comfortable transportation to sightsee and assimilate the information that I, as your guide, will impart to you on the way to and during our selected stops at the various places of interest. This strategy builds up the momentum of the excursion and the visitor's interest and anticipation for the particular site in question. As an experienced guide, I will give a running commentary eloquently to correlate the historic events which unfolded over time in Malta with the visual impressions the visitor experiences during the course of the tour. This tour offers a varied itinerary. It combines historic cities with quaint picturesque fishing villages and prehistoric temples with magnificent churches. Photo stops are as numerous as the countless panoramas and pristine places of interest included in the tour.

Pick up from any location of your choice. Our first stop will take us to the beautiful scenic cities of Senglea and Birgu, followed by a visit of Malta's quintessential fishing village, Marsaxlokk. Our next two stops are at the Blue Grotto & the ancient neolithic Temple of Hagar Qim, which we will both view from the outside. The boat trip to the Grotto depends on the weather and is optional. We'll take a short lunch break in the former medieval city of Mdina and enjoy a walking tour around this small but impressive silent city, steeped in time. From there we will visit the Church of Mosta, with its all impressive 4th largest dome in the world. A couple of photo stops on the perimeter coast line of Valletta will bring this tour to a pleasurable close. Return to Hotel/ship.
