Malta 's Capitals: Valletta and Mdina private tour

Valletta is a fortified city of the Renaissance build on a peninsula surrounded by two natural harbours. It is Malta's capital city, a masterpiece of the baroque, a world heritage site. Within the fortified walls of the capital one finds some of Europe's finest art works, churches, palaces as well picturesque gardens providing stunning views over Valletta harbours. Mdina, known locally as the Silent city, is a UNESCO heritage site, a superb fortified town teeming with medieval buildings as well as the stately homes of noble Maltese families. The view from its walls is magnificent, domininating over two thirds of the island.

We will make our way towards the central part of the island where I will take you around the walled city of Mdina, discovering an astonishing mixture of baroque and medieval architectures along its narrow typical streets. We will then proceed to Valletta where I will guide around Valletta's historical city center, the city’s most important landmarks , Tritons Square- New Parliament Building- Opera- Auberges of the Knights- Castile Square- Upper Barracca Gardens and visit St. John's co -Cathedral, Malta's gem. The whole church is a work of art superbly expressed in stone, marble sculptures , mosaics and paintings, quite a unique experience! Tour ends in Valletta.
