Magical Mdina and Rabat - a visit with a local guide

We had the pleasure of touring Malta with Victoria during our family vacation in July, and she truly made our visit unforgettable. Traveling with my wife and our two children (ages 19 and 22), we were looking for a guide who could engage everyone—and Victoria exceeded all our expectations. She has an exceptional ability to balance Malta's rich history with entertaining stories and fascinating local insights, keeping the entire family engaged from beginning to end. Her passion for Malta, extensive knowledge, and warm personality made every stop come alive. Victoria was professional, personable, and attentive to our interests, creating an experience that was both educational and enjoyable. Even our young adult children, who can be hard to impress on historical tours, thoroughly enjoyed the day and still talk about it. Our tour with Victoria was outstanding! She provided both historical and architectural background while leading us through the old walled cities. She kept us from getting swallowed by cruise ship tours while showing us the important sites and some off the main path as well. Highly recommended!

Our Mdina/ Rabat private walking tour was the second tour we had with Victoria D. It was equally as outstanding as her walking tour of Valletta. Victoria has an extensive knowledge of Mdina and its many hidden corners and laneways. She shared many stories of the area during our tour. Victoria was full of fascinating insights into Mdina and Rabat. Absolutely loved every moment of our tour with her. My two teenage boys were interested the entire time (which says a lot about Victoria’s amazing storytelling skills!) She also was able to provide transportation to Mdina from the port as well as a ride back, which was exceptionally helpful when you are a tourist! We are so grateful that we were able to experience Malta with Tours By Locals and with Victoria as a guide. 100% recommend!
