Hi, I am Victoria and a licensed tourist guide. I am Maltese, born and bred here and I love these islands with a passion. There is no better way than to explore your way around with a local guide. My enthusiasim is contagious and I can relate childhood experiences, stories, legends and customs to make your visit a memorable one. I can show you not only the usual cultural highlights but also the Maltese Islands' hidden treasures, such as atmospheric alleys, unique shops, and the quirky details whilst stopping to take the perfect photo or popping into the shops or cafes while you may savour the local traditional food. Together we can walk back in time while appreciating the present daily way of life and what as Maltese we aspire for our future. My experience in guiding is extensive from providing commercial to corporate private tours. I had the pleasure to guide the heads of state, during the 19th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) held in Malta in 2005. Among other discerning personalities were Tiziano Ferro, Peter Andre' and Pedro Andrade. I have been involved in the tourism industry for almost 20 years. Contact me to arrange your memorable visit to Malta or Gozo. I look forward to welcoming you to my wonderful Islands. Malta Tourism Authority Licenced Tour guide no 756 International Tourism Studies; Diploma with merit in Tour guiding (2004) Licenced tour Guide in three languages including my native language Maltese, English and Italian University of Malta (year 2013 - 6 months) Archeology and History of Art. Please message me before booking. Valletta attributes its charm to the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem. The challenge for these gentlemen was to bring Rome to Malta and as a result they built Valletta. The city was once known as the city where the streets 'bear no name'. Valletta is the city of splendid medieval and contemporary architecture. The magnificent palaces, the auberges, the convents and monasteries and over 20 churches adorned with baroque decorations are surrounded by public spaces such as squares and gardens.
