Welcome! My name is Erika and I am a professional tourist guide in Malta. For several years, among universities and masters in Italy, I studied history and art, which are my passion! On 2016 I decided to leave my hometown in Sicily and moving to Malta, I immediately felt at home. Here I decided to start a new adventure exploring this Island and I fell in love with it. In 2017 I signed up for guiding course and received my licence at the Institute of Tourism Studies. Being a tour guide is an exciting job, you can meet different people with different cultures and traditions, it is a mix of emotions that I love to share with all my guests, but it also requires solid skills and knowledge. I will looking forward to show you the most interesting places in the Maltese Islands, either by visiting the oldest free-standing temples in the world, the UNESCO World Heritage city of Valletta, the medieval town of Mdina or the magic of the "three cities". All the tours can be customised on what you are you interests or what you wish or like. I look forward to meeting you! Licensed as a tourist guide by the Malta Tourism Authority (licence nr. 984). I have attended The University of Catania studies getting my degree in Tourism and Turistic operator on 2013. On 2015 i got the diploma on Operator of natural and turistic resources. If it shows I am unavailable for some particular date, do still contact me as sometimes I may be booked for only part of the day and I may still be able to guide you.

Overview of your Valletta tour
For several years, among universities and masters in Italy, I studied history and art, which are my passion! I can't wait to share with you the unique and special history of Malta. The tour starts in Medina, the old capital city of Malta. The famous silent city, the old "città notabile", this city was the place where nobel families used to live. Still now a days is considered a quiet village and only few cars can enter inside. From Medina we move to the temples of Hagar Qim, are among the most ancient religious sites on Earth. Did you know that they are older than the pyramids in Egypt?? After i will have the pleasure to show you the traditional Maltese craftsmanship and we will finish the tour in Valletta, the new Capital city, is the biggest city of Malta, rich of history and hidden treasures.

Erika was early to the port and met us with a big smile. She was great. She took us all over and found parking which was an incredible feat all on its own. She spent most of the day with us showing us the sites, history and culture of Malta. Her car was very clean and comfortable and her English was excellent. We all really enjoyed her and her personality as well. I would highly recommend her for a private tour. We loved it.

Tour was very action packed! Went to 4 different spots all throughout the central and south parts of Malta. Erica was super knowledgeable about each location and all the history that surrounds each city. I recommend just 2 things for your tour, 1 bring good shoes because you will probably do at least 10,000 steps. And 2, ask Erica her opinion on everything, she knows what is worth it, and not worth it. Very nice time!
Your Valletta tour itinerary
Our day will be as follows: - Pick up & drive with private vehicle to Medina, the visit will last 1. 30 hours - Drive to Hagar Qim, 25 minutes from Medina, and walk into the temple and in the museum for 1 hour - Drive to Taqali craft village, 20 minutes from Hagar Qim - Drive to Valletta, and here we will go for a walking tour through the streets of ,Valletta for 2 hours. This tour's itinerary can be customized to your needs.
