Overview of your Valletta tour
If you prefer a private group option for your cruise excursion, I can assist you here in providing a hassle free and enjoyable private tour of the island. If there is another cruise ship in town, we will go the opposite way to have the island to ourselves. We will travel together in a spacious vehicle which is also air conditioned and new. This tour can be customised and you are free to see anywhere on the island. If you are interested in the Knights of St. John, both World War's or prefer a scenic day, I will be glad to perfect the right tour for you. This tour also allows you more visiting time and a larger selection of sites to visit.
Your Valletta tour itinerary
The itinerary is very much open for discussion but please see a tentative itinerary depending on which day of the week you arrive, whether there is a public holiday and certain sites are closed. During this tour we will visit: -Old city of Senglea with a view of the Grand Harbor. -Visit of the city of Vittoriosa, the first city to be inhabited by the Knights of St. John -Marsaxlokk fishing village -Birzebbuga (to view location of President Bush/President Gorbatchev summit 1989) -Blue Grotto viewing point and optional boat trip -Dingli Cliffs at the highest point in Malta -Lunch Break in Mdina -Visit of Mdina, the old Medieval city in Malta -The legendary St. Pauls Grotto and Catacombs in the town of Rabat, including Second World War air-raid shelters (entrance included) -Valletta's salient viewing points
