Welcome! My name is Victoria and I live in Gharghur, North East of Malta. I am a licensed, professional tour guide since 2005. For several years I have been informing and entertaining visitors from across the country and around the world about the sights and history of our beautiful country. Tour guiding was always my dream. At school, history was always my favourite subject and visiting places of interest was my biggest pleasure. I fulfilled my dream when I was 17 years. I was accepted by the Malta Tourism Institute to participate in the Tour Guiding Course. After 2 years of an intensive full time course, the Malta Tourism Authority had recognized me as one of its qualified guides. Being a tour guide is an exciting job that introduces you to people and places average travelers and tourists never experience, but it also requires solid skills and knowledge. To ensure this, I participate in various seminars and events in my field. Recently, I participated in a tourism-related EU funded project, consisting of an intensive course equivalent to the level of a Diploma in Tourism Management. I will be more than happy to help you plan your holiday or show you the most interesting places in the Maltese Islands, either by visiting the oldest free-standing temples in the world, the UNESCO World Heritage city of Valletta, the medieval town of Mdina, the island of Gozo steeped in tradition, or by following one of the many nature trails. Besides the popular traditional tours I also offer a number of excellent themed itineraries for all the different types of groups and ages and have been recommended by many including National Geographic. Together we can design a programme which suits your interests best. I have a passion for where I live and I have many ideas for exciting trips that I could take you on. I look forward to meeting you! We only had a day and a half in Malta, even though it was a highlight port of our cruise so we went with Victoria to try to show us as much as possible over two tours in two days. It was fantastic and we saw so much. The first afternoon we did a walking tour around the central part of Valetta. Victoria was knowledgeable, informative and varied the tour to suit our activity levels. It was a great introduction to Malta.

Fabulous introduction to Valletta tour with Vicky today. She packs a lot of information into two hours. We walked the streets and she explained the history, politics, and culture of Malta. There were many hidden gems and historic buildings that I am certain you will not find in any guide books. She also helped us decide how to spend the rest of our limited time in Malta as well as pointing out the best places to eat. If you are going to Valletta, do yourself a favor and go with Vicky. Your Valletta tour itinerary
Our day and the time we start the tour is flexible and is meant to accommodate your schedule and interests. Visit the Upper Barracca Gardens for a panoramic view of Malta's largest natural harbour. Guided Tour along the main streets of the city seeing the Auberges and chapels of the Knights of St John, the Renzo Piano parliament building, main entrance and Opera ruins. Walk to St. John's Co-Cathedral and the Caravaggio paintings. (Visit is optional) No shoulderless tops, stiletto shoes or shorts are allowed inside the Co-Cathedral. Continue on foot to the Magisterial Palace. (Visit is optional) Enjoy some minutes of free time for shopping and independent sightseeing. There may be occasions without any prior notice when either the Co-Cathedral or the Magisterial Palace is closed due to official functions. If this should occur, a visit to the Palace Armory and/or the National Museum of Archaeology can be done. Guests should wear comfortable walking shoes.
