Welcome! My name is Victoria and I live in Gharghur, North East of Malta. I am a licensed, professional tour guide since 2005. For several years I have been informing and entertaining visitors from across the country and around the world about the sights and history of our beautiful country. Tour guiding was always my dream. At school, history was always my favourite subject and visiting places of interest was my biggest pleasure. I fulfilled my dream when I was 17 years. I was accepted by the Malta Tourism Institute to participate in the Tour Guiding Course. After 2 years of an intensive full time course, the Malta Tourism Authority had recognized me as one of its qualified guides. Being a tour guide is an exciting job that introduces you to people and places average travelers and tourists never experience, but it also requires solid skills and knowledge. To ensure this, I participate in various seminars and events in my field. Recently, I participated in a tourism-related EU funded project, consisting of an intensive course equivalent to the level of a Diploma in Tourism Management. I will be more than happy to help you plan your holiday or show you the most interesting places in the Maltese Islands, either by visiting the oldest free-standing temples in the world, the UNESCO World Heritage city of Valletta, the medieval town of Mdina, the island of Gozo steeped in tradition, or by following one of the many nature trails. Besides the popular traditional tours I also offer a number of excellent themed itineraries for all the different types of groups and ages and have been recommended by many including National Geographic. Together we can design a programme which suits your interests best. I have a passion for where I live and I have many ideas for exciting trips that I could take you on. I look forward to meeting you! What a great day we had with Victoria. She picked us up at our hotel and we started by visiting the Mosta Dome. From there we went to Mdina and Rabat. We walked around and saw all the main sites. We then made a quick stop at Dingli Cliffs before heading for lunch at the Marsaxlokk fishing village. We ended the day with a stop at the Hal Tarxien Archeological site. Victoria really knows here stuff. She was engaging throughout the day and the family had a great time listening to her explanations and stories. Thanks for the amazing day.
We found Victoria to be a very pleasant and knowledgeable guide. She was unfazed when we informed her of a change in our previously planned itinerary and made the day work perfectly, getting us to a timed museum entry as previously planned. In the course of our conversations we learned that she had on occasion led tours for Viking Cruise Lines. This experience clearly showed through when she was able to provide us with an excellent tour of the Malta Archeological Museum, even though this was not part of the originally planned itinerary. We would highly recommend Victoria to anyone who wants to see more of Malta than provided by standard cruise ship excursions. With Victoria's assistance we were able to combine the contents of two cruise excursions into a single day in a very relaxed manner. Excellent!
Extraordinary experience. Victoria tailored the perfect one day introduction to Malta and then adjusted throughout the day as our understanding of Malta evolved and questions arose. As good a travel experience as we’ve ever had.

Suggested Itinerary; Mdina The blue grotto and Hagar Qim temples or Vittoriosa city Marsaxlokk Valletta (Upper Barraka Gardens, Republic/Merchants Streets & St. Johns Co. Cathedral or the Grand Master's Palace. The order of tour sites may vary depending on traffic and overcrowding of venues. No shoulderless tops or shorts are permitted inside the churches
