Hi, I am Victoria and a licensed tourist guide. I am Maltese, born and bred here and I love these islands with a passion. There is no better way than to explore your way around with a local guide. My enthusiasim is contagious and I can relate childhood experiences, stories, legends and customs to make your visit a memorable one. I can show you not only the usual cultural highlights but also the Maltese Islands' hidden treasures, such as atmospheric alleys, unique shops, and the quirky details whilst stopping to take the perfect photo or popping into the shops or cafes while you may savour the local traditional food. Together we can walk back in time while appreciating the present daily way of life and what as Maltese we aspire for our future. My experience in guiding is extensive from providing commercial to corporate private tours. I had the pleasure to guide the heads of state, during the 19th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) held in Malta in 2005. Among other discerning personalities were Tiziano Ferro, Peter Andre' and Pedro Andrade. I have been involved in the tourism industry for almost 20 years. Contact me to arrange your memorable visit to Malta or Gozo. I look forward to welcoming you to my wonderful Islands. Malta Tourism Authority Licenced Tour guide no 756 International Tourism Studies; Diploma with merit in Tour guiding (2004) Licenced tour Guide in three languages including my native language Maltese, English and Italian University of Malta (year 2013 - 6 months) Archeology and History of Art. NB : The Islands tour Itinerary • Pick up point (to be discussed) • We drive towards the North of Malta and stop at St. Paul's Bay to capture a great photo of the iconic St. Paul's islands. • We drive further North and stop by St. Agatha's Tower, known as the Red Tower. An ideal photo stop with spectacular views of Comino and Gozo. • We visit the quaint village of L-Imgarr for a short break. We stop in a typical snack bar to taste the exquisite 'pastizzi', a savory pastry filled with ricotta or curried peas. (This village is popular by the locals for its laid-back restaurants famous for the traditional 'Fenkata' a communal meal where rabbit is the main ingredient). • We proceed towards the South West of Malta for another photo stop. The dramatic cliffs of Dingli offer the best viewpoint of the smallest rock we call 'Filfla' • We drive to the crafts village to admire the locally handcrafted filigree, with some free time for shopping.
