This tour will allow you to discover the main landmarks on the island, from Malta prehistory, medieval towns, the grandeur of Valletta, Malta's capital as s natural indents and colorful fisherman's harbours. On tour I will provide you with a good insight of the island's history, past and present, traditions, food and culture This is a cocktail of what's best on the island!
We start off by heading towards the center part of Malta and visit Mdina Mdina: known locally as the Silent city, is a UNESCO heritage site, a superb fortified town teeming with medieval buildings as well as the stately homes of noble Maltese families. Next we head to the southwest of the island on the outskirts of the rural village of Qrendi where we find the most prominent prehistoric site on the island, Hagar Qim, a UNESCO Heritage Site -Photo stop dominating over the Blue Grotto. -Marsaxlokk: our main fisherman harbour characterized by the Luzzus the traditional fishing boats. Valletta: Finally we make our way back towards Valletta for a guiding walking tour of the capital city In Valletta we will discover the historic city center, Auberges of the Knights, main squares and gardens. Upon request we can visit St John's co-Cathedral, the main church of the Knights of Malta. Within this church some of the most prestigious work of art on the island. A short lunch break is allocated in Valletta
