Dear traveler. Thank you for showing an interest in visiting our beautiful islands. Being born and raised in The Netherlands, my first visit to Malta was in 1988. I fell in love with the islands (and with a Maltese man. . . ) and moved here permanently in 1990. I have a diploma in Tourism Studies and have always worked in this industry, which I love. I furthered my studies to become an official Tourist Guide and obtained my license in 2000. To me, being a Tour Guide is one of the best professions in the world. I get to surround myself with new, interesting people from all over the word, while enjoying the outdoors. Not to mention, show them all that Malta has to offer. And that is a lot! So whether it is the history of the islands you are interested in, or you wish to experience our culture, to find out more about life on a Mediterranean island, to get a taste of the local delicacies or to simply just enjoy beautiful scenery, bays and views, I am here for you regardless. So kindly do get in touch by booking a tour or contact me directly if you prefer a more customized experience. I hope to meet you soon! ·Official Tourist Guide License since 2000 (license nr 698) issued by the Malta Tourism Authority ·Diploma in Tourism Studies I am not a driver-guide. For tours that require transport an air-conditioned car or van will be booked.

If you wish to see some of the island of Malta in a short time, or you have mobility or walking restrictions, this tour is perfect for you. Just sit back and relax while enjoying a nice drive passing by some of Malta's main spots and landscapes with your private guide (yours truly) telling you all about Malta's rich history and traditions. This experience will definitely give you a pretty good picture of the island that I am proud to call my home. I always call Malta a pleasant surprise, since most people don't really know what to expect. It will be my pleasure to reveal it's beauty and secrets to you. There will be opportunities to stop for photos, maybe buy some souvenirs and have a light snack or refreshment. A very suitable tour for cruise ship passengers too, when your stop in Malta is short and you wish to get a nice taste of the island.
·After pick-up, we'll drive around the fortifications of Valletta, Malta's capital city, with the opportunity to admire the extent of the fortifications and the views over the 2 harbours on both sides of the city. ·We continue by driving to the South East of the island for a visit to the lovely fishing village of Marsaxlokk, where you'll be able to admire the colourful fishing boats called 'Luzzu', take some photos and walk along the sea promenade, where you'll find a tiny market offering souvenirs & local craft items. An opportunity for you to do some shopping if you wish! ·Next stop will be at the viewpoint of the Blue Grotto in the South of the island. Weather-permitting, you could opt to go on an optional boat ride here, for 25 mins. ·Later, driving through the countryside of Malta we'll be stopping at the Dingli Cliffs for another photo op. ·Finishing off, we'll drive around the old capital city of Mdina, situated on the highest point of Malta. ·Aterwards, I'll take you back to our starting point.

This is a panoramic tour, done mostly in a chauffeur-driven, licensed air-conditioned private mini-van, with little walking in certain stops within the itinerary.
