Full Day Valletta and Mdina Walking Tour Wine Tasting

Experience a walking tour of Valletta, the New Capital of Malta built in the 1570's and the Old Capital, Mdina which was first inhabited in the Bronze Age followed by a visit to a vineyard located just below Mdina for a tasting of true Maltese wines. We will start the tour in Valletta, visiting Upper Barakka Gardens, stopping outside some of the most prestigious landmarks in the city plus a visit to St. John's Co-Cathedral. In Mdina, we will walk the narrow streets and soak in the long history of which we can still experience buildings going back to the 12th C and the Baroque Era. The tour ends in a relaxed way sipping wines from one of Malta's most renowned vineyards accompanied by nibbles. This tour is a walking tour with transport. Comfortable walking shoes, sun hat, sunscreen and please note that ladies are required to wear a minimum of short sleeved shirts plus shorts needs to be of knee length for all genders. Price includes transport but entrances and wine tasting are an extra cost.

The tour comprises a walking tour of Valletta including sone of the most important landmarks on the Maltese islands: • the St John's Co-Cathedral • followed by a drive up to Mdina, the Silent City and a walking tour inside the old capital of Malta. • We will then proceed to a Meridiana, a beautiful vineyard set below Mdina • Finally heading back to your ship or accommodation. *Wineries are open Monday to Friday, except on national Hollidays Tour can be customize upon request.
