Overview of your Turin tour
Asti is situated, in the middle of Piedmont, in one of the most beautiful landscapes of our region: Monferrato and not so far from Langhe, which both have been declared under UNESCO Heritage since 2014. This enchanting landscape is perfect for the vineyard which not only create a spectacular view but this Region has become known all around the world for a some of the most traditional Piemontese red wine as Barbera d'Asti or the other world-famous dessert white wine Moscato d'Asti, this city is not only Food and wine. In this wonderful background Asti is a very particular city: walking through its narrow old streets you can feel and see the history thanks to its medieval towers the baroque palaces and even part of the Roman city wall. Asti attracts tourists also famous for one event - the Palio: horse race held each year in September.
Your Turin tour itinerary
Meeting Point with your guide at the place previously agreed. • Drive to Asti and walking tour in the city. • Visit & tasting in a chocolate /nougat producer. • Tour in Monferrato to reach the winery. • Wine tasting and homemade snacks. • Way back to Hotel or any other location you are comfortable with. Please, be aware that chocolate and nougat tasting in typical local producer is closed in July, August, December with regard to holiday days and non working days.
