Hi everyone! My name is Nathalie, and I am a Belgian who moved to Turin in 2014 for love — and completely fell in love with the city itself as well. Today, I live in the vibrant neighbourhood of San Salvario together with my husband Alessandro and our two daughters. I studied Food Culture and Communication at the Slow Food University in Piedmont, and ever since, food, local culture and storytelling have been at the heart of everything I do. When I travel, I am not looking for standard tourist attractions. I love discovering the real life of a city: the cafés locals truly love, hidden artisan shops, beautiful food traditions and the stories behind everyday places. That is exactly the kind of experience I create for my guests in Turin. My tours are private, personal and carefully curated. I combine hidden corners of Turin with local history, food culture, artisan shops and authentic places that most visitors would never discover on their own. Because every tour is private, I am always happy to adapt the experience to your interests whenever possible. A few things about me: * Master degree in Food Culture and Communication — Slow Food University (Pollenzo, Piedmont) * Master degree in French and Italian Literature — University of Antwerp * Master degree in Translation (English, French and Dutch) Please note: * I am not a licensed historical guide and therefore cannot guide inside monuments or museums. * I am not a driver, but I can gladly help arrange private transportation with a licensed driver if needed. I look forward to discovering Turin together with you!

Did you know that Turin has the highest number of historical cafés in Italy? Or that, for more than two centuries, the city was considered the chocolate capital of the world? On this private tour, I will take you beyond the classical tourist routes to discover the hidden side of Turin through food, local stories, artisan culture and beautiful historical places. Along the way, you will taste some of Piedmont’s most iconic specialties while discovering the fascinating stories and traditions behind them. As someone who studied Food Culture and Communication at The University of Gastronomic Science in Piedmont, I love sharing the rich culinary and cultural heritage of this city. But Turin is much more than a food paradise. It is also a city of elegant hidden cafés, passionate artisans, independent boutiques and unique places that many visitors — and even locals — never truly discover. This experience is designed for curious travellers who want to explore Turin in a more personal, authentic and meaningful way.
* We begin in the beautiful Piazza Carignano, where you will discover some of Turin’s most iconic historical food treasures and the fascinating stories behind them. * From there, we continue through elegant squares and hidden corners of the city while tasting seasonal local specialties such as artisanal chocolate or ice cream. * Along the way, I will introduce you to some of Turin’s most fascinating culinary traditions, local delicacies and lesser-known historical stories. * We finish the experience with a relaxed tasting of carefully selected wines, cheeses, cured meats and rare Italian delicacies in one of my favourite local spots. Because every tour is private, I am always happy to adapt small elements of the experience to your interests whenever possible.
