Hello! I’m Carlotta, a proud native of Turin – or Torino, as we locals call it. I was born and raised in this vibrant city, and over the years, my love for it has only deepened. That passion led me to pursue my tour guide and tour manager license, and I’ve been sharing the beauty of Turin, Piedmont, and other stunning Italian destinations with visitors from all over the world for over 15 years. My curiosity and drive to constantly learn have sparked my deep interest in art, local history, and the preservation of the rich cultural, gastronomic, and folkloric traditions of my region. I stay up-to-date by crafting new itineraries and researching fresh, captivating stories to share with my guests. What I love most about being a tour guide is seeing the amazement in my guests’ eyes as they discover my beautiful city and its surrounding areas. I’m also incredibly passionate about our local food culture and traditions. In fact, I’ve created a "Market Tour – Like a Local" and became a certified sommelier in 2024. I now also lead wine tours in the Langhe region, where you’ll taste exceptional Barolos and Barbarescos at hand-picked vineyards. I work closely with hotels, local institutions, tour operators, and both Italian and international associations to ensure a seamless experience for my guests. I’d be thrilled to welcome you during your visit to Turin and Piedmont! Licenses & Qualifications: - Licensed Tourist Guide and Tour Manager by the local government in Turin and Piedmont - Master’s Degree in Tourism Development - Cettified Sommelier by the Italian Sommelier Association - I am authorized to lead tours both outdoors and inside museums and art exhibitions A practical note: I am not a driver, but I can accompany you in your vehicle or arrange for a car and driver upon request. I look forward to showing you the best of my city and region!

The Royal House of the Savoy left their own mark through some dazzling and unusual baroque architectures, regarded as some of the best in Italy. The city, in the 17th and early 18th centuries became home to two genius architects, Guarino Guarini and Filippo Juvarra. Discover the grand history and the visionary style of the baroque buildings through a walking tour in the historical centre, followed by a visit to the magnificent Chapel of the Holy Shroud, where you will experience how a baroque masterpiecce comes together. Discover Turin with a Torinese guide to have an insider's perspective on the art, the history, but also the everyday life in the first Italian Capital.
Excellent tour! Highly recommend
This tour of Turin by Ms Carlott made its audience in awe about her command of Turin's history & importance throughout the ages from its humble beginnings to the splendors of the Baroque age & beyond. Lots of interesting & entertaining details given of Turin's rulers, it's churches, palaces, its famous Shroud. No visit to Turin can not end without trying its most famous & delicious drink, Bicerin, where it originated.
The exact itinerary can be customized to fit your interests. - We'll start from one of the most elegant and peculiar squares in town: Piazza Carignano, where you'll admire the wavy facade of the Palazzo Carignano. - Then we'll get then to the Church of Saint Lawrence to admire the dome from the inside. - We'll follow with an entrance to the Royal Palace complex to visit the Chapel of the Holy Shroud (Shroud not visible - not kept here anymore), where philosophy, art, religion, maths, theatrical illusion and architecture come to life all together. - We'll finish visiting the Consolata Shrine and, if you like, we'll have a Bicerin tasting together in the place where it was invented. The tour runs hail or shine. Takes place half outdoors and half indoors, the path is partially covered under the arches. The Royal Palace is closed on Wednesdays, ticket is 16€ per person. If you are a group bigger than 4, please contact me and I will send you a customised quote for your party.
