Full Day Tour to Discover Turin

Genova, Cristina's home town, is amazing! The tour started in the Centro Storico and included historical homes, churches, an elevator ride (!) to the hills in the center of the old town, and a tour of the waterfront with an absolutely incredible lunch on the water. There were wonderful shops, Christopher Columbus' home, and the central piazza with its beautiful fountain. I wish I could tell you more (and show you some of the pictures I took) in this amazing City with this absolutely incredible guide!

Christina's passion for Italy is contagious. She arranged a private car & driver & private boat tours of Lago Maggiore & Lago d'Orta for us as well as a wonderful lunch in small restaurant in Stressa. As part of the tours she brought to life the history, the art, the architecture, and the gardens of each island with their churches, statuary and frescoes, and incredibly tiny and yet picturesque and colorful village lanes lined with flowers and wonderfully warm people. Christina is an incredible guide!

Cristina P. recommended a tour of Portofino & Santa Margherita Ligure as one of the Pearls of the region. The tour was spectacular! Portofino is a tiny jewel which she brought to life. Fans of Downton Abbey will have to ask her about the connection to Highclere Castle. And I was surprised by the elegance of Santa Margharita Ligure. The church, the park with statuary overlooking the bay, and the lunch at a wonderful restaurant near the water were unbelievable! This tour with Cristina is a must!

I booked a tour with Cristina P. as I was impressed with the depth and breadth of her knowledge, as well as her language skills. This tour was of the Langhe area. A car and driver - took us to Alba, Barolo, La Morra, and to the most amazing winery! We stopped for lunch at a wonderful restaurant in Baralo, and the private wine tasting (I ended up buying 6 bottles of Barolo) was unbelievable - to get details you must book the tour! It is absolutely worth it!
