Hi everyone! My name is Nathalie, and I am a Belgian who moved to Turin in 2014 for love — and completely fell in love with the city itself as well. Today, I live in the vibrant neighbourhood of San Salvario together with my husband Alessandro and our two daughters. I studied Food Culture and Communication at the Slow Food University in Piedmont, and ever since, food, local culture and storytelling have been at the heart of everything I do. When I travel, I am not looking for standard tourist attractions. I love discovering the real life of a city: the cafés locals truly love, hidden artisan shops, beautiful food traditions and the stories behind everyday places. That is exactly the kind of experience I create for my guests in Turin. My tours are private, personal and carefully curated. I combine hidden corners of Turin with local history, food culture, artisan shops and authentic places that most visitors would never discover on their own. Because every tour is private, I am always happy to adapt the experience to your interests whenever possible. A few things about me: * Master degree in Food Culture and Communication — Slow Food University (Pollenzo, Piedmont) * Master degree in French and Italian Literature — University of Antwerp * Master degree in Translation (English, French and Dutch) Please note: * I am not a licensed historical guide and therefore cannot guide inside monuments or museums. * I am not a driver, but I can gladly help arrange private transportation with a licensed driver if needed. I look forward to discovering Turin together with you!

Most visitors discover Turin’s elegant squares, royal palaces and historic cafés. But few get to experience the side of the city where locals shop, eat and meet every day. On this private experience, we’ll explore a vibrant local market, taste authentic Piedmontese specialties, discover unique artisan shops and meet some of the passionate people behind them. Our journey takes us through San Salvario, one of Turin’s most fascinating neighbourhoods: a treasure trove of local food, artisan craftsmanship and unforgettable stories. If you are looking for an authentic experience beyond the main tourist sights, this tour will show you the Turin that locals know and love.
• Discover the fascinating story of San Salvario, one of Turin’s most vibrant and characterful neighbourhoods. • Learn about Turin’s rich Jewish heritage and the remarkable history behind its two synagogues. • Explore the lively Madama Cristina market, where locals shop for fresh produce and regional specialties, and enjoy two authentic Piedmontese food tastings. • Indulge in a generous breakfast and coffee tasting at what many locals consider to be the finest coffee bar in Piedmont. • Visit unique artisan boutiques and meet passionate shop owners whose creativity, craftsmanship and personal stories make these places truly unforgettable. • This is a private experience and can be adapted to your interests. Whether you are passionate about food, fashion, local culture or artisan craftsmanship, I will happily tailor parts of the tour to create an experience that suits you perfectly.
