Hello! I’m Carlotta, a proud native of Turin – or Torino, as we locals call it. I was born and raised in this vibrant city, and over the years, my love for it has only deepened. That passion led me to pursue my tour guide and tour manager license, and I’ve been sharing the beauty of Turin, Piedmont, and other stunning Italian destinations with visitors from all over the world for over 15 years. My curiosity and drive to constantly learn have sparked my deep interest in art, local history, and the preservation of the rich cultural, gastronomic, and folkloric traditions of my region. I stay up-to-date by crafting new itineraries and researching fresh, captivating stories to share with my guests. What I love most about being a tour guide is seeing the amazement in my guests’ eyes as they discover my beautiful city and its surrounding areas. I’m also incredibly passionate about our local food culture and traditions. In fact, I’ve created a "Market Tour – Like a Local" and became a certified sommelier in 2024. I now also lead wine tours in the Langhe region, where you’ll taste exceptional Barolos and Barbarescos at hand-picked vineyards. I work closely with hotels, local institutions, tour operators, and both Italian and international associations to ensure a seamless experience for my guests. Everything was excellent, she was very knowledgeable of Turin and easy to understand. We wanted to tour an area outside of Turin which she arranged with a driver. With this area being somewhat new to her, she went on her own a few days before we arrived to familiarize herself with the area and basically did her homework and she explained it perfectly to us. She went above and beyond what we expected and did a great tour!

She struck the perfect balance between sharing fascinating historical facts and allowing us time to take in some of the city’s main sights. Carlotta was an excellent guide whose knowledge about the city of Torino’s history, culture and challenges it is facing is abundant and whose enthousiasm to inform and entertain our group of people with different interest and background made it a extraordinary 2 hours event.
The exact itinerary can be customized to fit your interests. The tour can also start from your Hotel if it is located in the historic center. - We'll start from the beating heart of Turin: Piazza Castello, where you'll admire the exterior of the Royal Palace, Palazzo Madama, and the Church of Saint Lawrence. If you are a group bigger than 4, please contact me and I will send you a customised quote for your party. - We'll visit the area near the Cathedral that is home to the Holy Shroud, the most important relic for Christians and we'll have a good look at the best kept Roman Gate in the whole world. (Please note that the Shroud is never on display, it is possible to see where it's kept, but the linen is always covered) - Then, we'll follow the steps of the Royal house of the Savoy's family under the elegant arcades reaching for the baroque architecture all around us. The tour runs hail or shine. Takes place mainly outdoors, with a couple of stops indoors, the path is partially covered under the arches.
