Hi! I am Cristina and I am a full-time licensed tourist guide in Turin, Genoa (2-hour driving distance from Turin) and Portofino (near Genoa) and Langhe (in the province of Cuneo, almost 1h from Turin). I was born in Genoa (in Liguria region where also Portofino is) but my mother is from a small town near Venice, my father from a village near Rome. Ten years ago I moved to Turin for a romantic reason: I got married to a Torinese. So, I can describe myself as a "pizza", full of Italian ingredients offering you the taste of Italy. I have attended the technical institut for tourism in Genoa where I studied English, French and German. I got a degree in Literature specialising Archeology because art and history are my passions since I was a child at school. In 1994, I became a tour guide: I wanted to be the link between Art&History, Food&Wine, local cultures and way of life and the tourist curiosities. I give them the passwords to understand the places they are visiting. Fascinating job, isn't it? I speak fluent English and French that I use not only as tour guide but also as tour leader during my tours abroad. I am so proud to make you feel the atmosphere of Turin and also of. . . . the wine country of Langhe & Roero (Barolo and Barbaresco). . . . and Portofino, the wonderful famous inlet on the sea. Just plan your staying, choose my tours and it will be a real pleasure for me to be your personal key to this part of Italy, from the Alpes to the sea. Do not forget that I can also arrange special tours according to your needs. See you soon. . . . . or, as we say in Turin, "Cerea"! Tourist Guide Licenses issued by the Local Government in Turin Genoa and Cuneo. I am allowed to organize private tours also in museums, art exhibitions and in the Diocesan Museum of Turin (tour guides need to have a special license). Degree in Literature, specialising Archaeology. Refresher courses in Christian Iconography in Turin and in Genoa. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your own car or arrange a private car with driver.

Overview of your Turin tour

This tour will give you the opportunity to discover the first capital of Italy in 1861. We'll stroll in the well planned historic city centre rich in traces of beauty and history. From a Roman encampment to a modern capital. Every time I have the pleasure to show my city, it feels like the first time! The thing I really love of Turin is its elegance, the incredible beauty of its palaces and squares. I will lead you through culture and art, tradition and chocolate in order to make you feel as local!
