My name is Enrico and I would be thrilled to be your host in one of the most fascinating and exotic regions of Italy. I am a fully licensed tour guide based in the vibrant city of Palermo, but my passion for this island goes far beyond just a license. I have dedicated my career to the travel industry, holding a degree in Tourism Management and possessing a strong background in Hospitality. This experience has taught me that a great tour isn't just about reciting dates and facts; it’s about creating a comfortable, seamless and memorable experience for my guests. I officially received my tour guide license three years ago, which allowed me to turn my love for Sicilian history, art and culture into my full-time profession. My commitment to seamless, high-quality service was greatly enhanced by the five years I spent living in London. That experience proved to be invaluable both personally and professionally, significantly improving my English and my understanding of the traveler's perspective. Today, I work exclusively with English-speaking visitors. I genuinely enjoy connecting with international travelers! I pride myself on being a flexible and friendly guide. I want you to feel like you are exploring the city with a knowledgeable local friend rather than a textbook. I am passionate about sharing the true beauty of Sicily with all my travelers—from our chaotic, colorful markets to our serene ancient temples. I look forward to exploring this incredible island with you!

Embark on a journey to the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Valley of the Temples (Agrigento), travelling in ultimate comfort with a Mercedes Benz van. As your private local guide, I ensure exploring at a flexible pace, as I provide deep historical context and local insights, bringing ancient Greek civilization to life as we explore the magnificent Temples of Concordia and Hera. We'll have enough time to try getting the best photos of the temples framed by the breathtaking Sicilian landscape and Mediterranean Sea behind them. I believe that one of the key differences that I provide with this tour is going beyond the culture and history of the site, embracing the powerful presence of nature in the areas we explore, stopping by scenic parks and steep overlook points. I strive to combine cultural depth with natural Sicilian beauty for an unforgettable day of magnificent scenery and ancient history. I remain at your complete disposal, so please contact me before booking to request any changes.
-After picking you up, we'll first stop at Scala dei Turchi, a stunning white cliff. -Next, we'll proceed towards the Valley of the Temples, where I'll share the fascinating history of Akragas (6th BC). -We'll then reach the temple of Juno and walk along the old city wall, surrounded by olive & almond trees. -Following this, we'll continue to admire the Arcosoli & the 'Garden of the Righteous.' -Afterwards, we could stop at the Valley's only service area for coffee/refreshments, before marvelling at what is arguably the world's best preserved temple (The Temple of Concordia). -We'll then get to see Girgentane goats roaming around the Valley in their own paddocks, and take in the beautiful gardens of Villa Aurea before exploring the ruins of the Temple of Heracles. -Finally, we'll stand before the colossal remains of the Temple of Olympian Zeus, seeing legendary Telamon figures. -We'll conclude by walking through an ancient neighbourhood toward the exit, before getting back in our vehicle to return.
