I'm a licenzed tour leader who has been doing this work for more than ten years all over Sicily. I attended the University where I studied history, archeology, art and folk traditions. Syracuse was among the most important cities of the ancient Greek world, founded in 733 B.C. in a short time it managed to achieve a fame that has come down to the present day. The island of Ortigia and the archaeological area of Neapolis bear witness to a richness and splendor that come alive in the monuments and beautiful landscape. The Villa del Casale in Piazza Armerina then plunges us into another historical period, that of the Imero of Rome and in particular of a high-ranking owner.
