The Tyrrhenian Sea is part of the Mediterranean Sea off the western coast of Italy. It is named so from the Tyrrhenian people, identified with the Etruscans. While the skipper takes care of the navigation I will tell you about the history of the area. From April to October, and on some days in November, too, the sea temperature allows swimming and diving.
