My name is Enrico and I would be thrilled to be your host in one of the most fascinating and exotic regions of Italy. I am a fully licensed tour guide based in the vibrant city of Palermo, but my passion for this island goes far beyond just a license. I have dedicated my career to the travel industry, holding a degree in Tourism Management and possessing a strong background in Hospitality. This experience has taught me that a great tour isn't just about reciting dates and facts; it’s about creating a comfortable, seamless and memorable experience for my guests. I officially received my tour guide license three years ago, which allowed me to turn my love for Sicilian history, art and culture into my full-time profession. My commitment to seamless, high-quality service was greatly enhanced by the five years I spent living in London. That experience proved to be invaluable both personally and professionally, significantly improving my English and my understanding of the traveler's perspective. Today, I work exclusively with English-speaking visitors. I genuinely enjoy connecting with international travelers! I pride myself on being a flexible and friendly guide. I want you to feel like you are exploring the city with a knowledgeable local friend rather than a textbook. I am passionate about sharing the true beauty of Sicily with all my travelers—from our chaotic, colorful markets to our serene ancient temples. I look forward to exploring this incredible island with you!

Step into the vibrant heart of Palermo, a UNESCO World Heritage site that dates back to the 8th century BC. Prepare for a sensory immersion as you experience the sights, sounds, and smells of authentic Sicilian street life. Together we'll see the fusion of 2 cultures at the majestic Arab-Norman Palermo Cathedral, and take in the baroque grandeur of the stunning Fontana della Vergogna, a Renaissance masterpiece located at Piazza Pretoria. As your licensed guide, I'll make sure to provide you with a dynamic and engaging introduction to the city's complex soul, and help you understand the profound historical significance of the landmarks we'll come across as we go.
-After we've gathered, we will begin a stroll at your own pace along Via Maqueda. -We'll plunge into a historic and rather chaotic market (Mercato Ballarò or Mercato del Capo). -We will then visit the theatrical Baroque junction of Quattro Canti. -Next, we'll head towards 2 of the most iconic squares of Palermo: Piazza Bellini and Piazza Pretoria, which are surrounded by historic palaces. -Later, we'll walk through Corso Vittorio until we reach the Palermo Cathedral. -Afterwards, we'll admire by entering the towering Palazzo dei Normanni and the stunning Cappella Palatina. -At last, we'll say our goodbyes outside Palazzo dei Normanni.

Piazza Giuseppe Verdi, Palermo, Sicilia, 90138, Italy
I always suggest to set The meeting point at the entrance of Teatro Massimo, right in front of the monumental stairs of the theatre. Otherwise i will be very pleased you directly at the central station, at Piazza Marina or even in your lodging (if located walking distance from the city centre of Palermo). I am at your complete disposal so let me know your preference!
