Many people told us there wasn't much to see or do in Palermo, but that couldn't have been further from the truth. Gaetano greeted us as soon as we stepped off our cruise ship and immediately made us feel welcome. He is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Palermo, Sicily, and the region's rich history. Our tour went far beyond the city's famous landmarks. Gaetano introduced us to hidden gems, shared fascinating historical stories, and provided local insights that we never would have discovered on our own. His love for Palermo was evident throughout the experience and made every stop even more meaningful. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip. We left with a much deeper appreciation for Palermo, its history, and its culture. Thank you, Gaetano, for an unforgettable day!

Our tour guide, Gaetano, was ONE OF THE BEST EVER. I would give him 10 stars. He was organized, extremely knowledgeable with excellent English. He had so many interesting facts and made our tour so enjoyable I almost forgot how hot it was. Go no further in your research than Gaetano. I reserved a walking tour with Gaetano over a year ago for a group of 8. Gaetano brought to life the vast history of Palermo. He is a superb storyteller. Giving us information in an interesting and even sometimes enthralling way. It was like spending the day with an old friend. One of the best guides I have engaged in decades of travel. Five star rating well deserved.

Gaetano was engaging, informative and very knowledgeable about all pertinent subjects. He knows the City and is very proud of it. Thoroughly enjoyed the time which went by very quickly. Highly recommend it if you are planning a trip to this remarkable City.

We had such an incredible walking tour of Palermo visiting many locations and learning of the history of Palermo and Sicily. The city is beautiful and well worth a visit. The tour will give you a great overview. We were on a cruise and he met with us outside of the dock. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate toward our desires for the day. At the end of the tour he took us to a wonderful restaurant for outside dining then we easily returned to the dock. Make certain to wear comfortable shoes and if in the summer it will be hot! That said - we would definitely reach out again for any future tours in the area.

In every way possible, this was the best walking tour we have ever done! And we've done quite a few! Gaetano is beyond a guide, he is an educator, sharing substantive information, engaging in conversation and dialogue, and being entertaining to boot. He is very conscious of your needs as you move through your tour - and very generous with his time! I would give him 5 starts if I could!
