I hold a degree in architecture from the University of Palermo. After my graduation, I moved to the United States where I attended a course in Interior Design at the New York School of Visual Arts. After many years in Boston and New York where I worked for several architectural firms, I have returned to Sicily, my native land, and now lead cultural tours in Palermo and beyond. My walks are infused with my interests in architecture and the history of arts. I am a licensed guide leading private tours for small groups willing to really understand the places they visit. I am very passionate about my island, I share my knowledge with travellers by arranging cultural tours with an emphasis on history, art, archaeology, architecture, gastronomy, nature, or a blend of the above. I have helped hundreds of travellers discover and understand the masterpieces left by nature and the different civilizations that have made Sicily their home during the last three millennia. My aim isn't to merely 'inform' travellers about social and historical facts, my tours are interactive and stimulating physically and mentally. I plan them with great care and adjust them continuously. These are few itinerary ideas. Every tour with me is fully customized, personalized to your interests. Contact me to begin planning your day tour or shore excursions. Degree in architecture. Professional License/Certificate. Tour Guide Experience: 20 year(s) I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Erice is a charming historic town surrounded by walls and perched 800 meters high above sea level. In all respects medieval with steep roads and alleys that climb all the way up the flanks of the mountain. Its roots, however, lie in a more ancient past. The city was known in the classical age as Eryx and was the home of a magnificent temple dedicated to Venus Ericina, the Mediterranean goddess of fertility: legend has it that this is where the Cretan architect Daedalus landed and that he subsequently offered the temple a golden beehive as an act of homage to the goddess. * This tour is also available for non-cruiser passengers. ** Segesta' tour could be combined with an extra price. Every tour with me is fully customized, personalized to your interests. Please contact me for a quotation.
We will reach the city and then will walk around one of the most beautiful Medieval towns overlooking Trapani and the Salt Way Road. Erice is famous for its ancient streets and for the homemade pastry shops. Our exploration involves gastronomic stops to sample some of Erice's best homemade pastry and local wine. Back to Palermo.
