Ciao a tutti! I’m Diana, a true Sicilian guide with a deep passion for the art, history, and culture of my homeland. Born and raised in Palermo, with roots from the enchanting island of Pantelleria (my dad’s side), I’ve spent my life surrounded by the beauty and stories of Sicily. I’m a licensed guide, and I’ve been guiding travelers for years, sharing my love for this vibrant island in a way that’s anything but boring! I don’t just provide facts—I weave in local anecdotes, funny stories, and hidden details to bring the experience to life. To me, you’re not a tourist—you’re a traveler, and I want to make sure you see Sicily through the eyes of a local. I studied foreign languages and art history at the University of Palermo, and even spent some time in New York to perfect my English. Today, I speak English, Spanish, and French, and I’m eager to share my knowledge with visitors from all over the world. Whether you’re looking to explore Palermo’s historic sites, discover ancient ruins, or uncover the island’s best-kept secrets, my tours are fully customizable. I’m happy to travel to various parts of Sicily upon request and look forward to showing you one of the most charming and colorful places in the world! Are you ready to experience Sicily like a local?

At the beginning of the tour I will show you the charming city of Palermo, featured by a mix of cultures and artistic styles. If you’re looking for one of the most attractive melting pot ever, Palermo is definitely the right place to visit! I always say that this amazing place look like a “lasagna” because we can find many different layers ( due to the several dominations). During the second half of the tour we will move to Monreale and then we will visit one of the biggest temples of the Christianity : the Cathedral dedicated to the Virgin. One of the finest examples of Norman architecture still in existence. We will have time to explore the cathedral and appreciate the glittering spectacle , the dazzling mosaics… something that will take your breath away. IMPORTANT The itinerary is totally flexible! I can customise it according to your preferences.
Suggested itinerary -pick up at Piazza Verdi (Massimo opera house) - walking tour of Palermo (4 corners, Pretoria fountain, Bellini square) - walking through Vittorio Emanuele street - visit of the cathedral of Palermo - we meet the driver who will take us to the medieval town of Monreale (20 minutes drive approximately) - visit of Monreale - back to Palermo
