Ancestry Research - Day Tour in Sicily

Bartolomeo did a fabulous job arranging for my ancestry tour. He was able to gather information about my grandparents and took my daughter and I to see the original homes of my grandparents and the church where they were married. Copies of their birth certificates and their marriage license were waiting for us at the municipal building. Bartolomeo picked us up at our hotel; he was on time and took us to Gangi. He arranged for us to have lunch at a lovely restaurant, as well as stopping to see other Palermo attractions. I also hired Bartolomeo to pick us up at the airport and take us to our hotel. I cannot recommend Bartolomeo highly enough to arrange a tour for you, focusing on what it is important to you. He was kind, knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. I would give him 10 stars if I could!

Bartolomeo provided a productive day - allowing us to gather information about my grandparents birthplaces and visits to their possible birthplaces or childhood homes. He shared information about the places we visited and arranged a spectacular regional lunch!

This tour is a must for anyone interested in their Sicilian Heritage. Bartolomeo went above and beyond to make this an amazing day for me. We started at the Municipal building where I was able to get copies of family members birth and marriage certificates. He had contacted people who were very relevant to my heritage and organized a wonderful day with them. I could not have been happier. He also arranged transfers to and from the airport. It was a magical day!

Bartolomeo took us to Campofelice di Fitalia and Ciminna where we found birth, death, and marriage records for our ancestors. He helped us navigate the municipal offices and took us around the villages to see where they lived. We ended with a lovely dinner overlooking Ciminna. It was a fantastic day and I would highly recommend Bartolomeo for any tour.

Bartolomeo was fabulous! We are sisters with roots in Sicily we wanted to explore. He contacted us before our trip to know what we wanted so he could plan and research. He was punctual and an expert driver. We drove to Custonaci and the Trapani area. We spent time with municipal clerks in two towns as they looked for records regarding births, deaths and marriages of grand and great grandparents. It was emotional. Even the Sicilian clerks felt the chills as they kept digging. He can help you!
