Pompeii and Herculaneum walking tour

Ilaria was absolutely amazing. We had a connection from the time I booked the tour with her and she was very pleasant with every change I made. She was our guide at Pompeii and Herculaneum and she was great; she was knowledgeable and interesting. Having a guide at these historic sites is so important; Ilaria set the stage for us as we visited both places. Her explanations were thorough. Her English is impeccable! Ilaria was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable about both Pompeii and Herculaneum. It is impossible to see Pompeii in 2 hours but Ilaria did a fantastic job showing us what she could. We did not feel rushed and it definitely wasn't boring! Herculaneum was just fantastic. It really showed you the difference in lifestyle and tragedy of the event. Ilaria was on time. Her English fantastic. Her knowledge of both areas was impressive. She was kind, fun, and all around perfect!

Ilaria was extremely accommodating in working with our time frame and emailing us back and forth even before we left the USA. She was very knowledgable and spoke English beautifully. She picked and chose the most and best things to see in each of the locations so as not to overwhelm us but to give us the flavor of the experience. She even allowed us the time to have a picnic lunch in between the different tours and accompanied us on the train home. We would highly recommend her.
