Hi, my name is Giovanna and I am an official tour guide of the Campania region. I studied history at the University of Naples. My passion for history is also due to the fact that I was born and raised a few steps away from the Mt. Vesuvius and the most important and best preserved archaeological site in the world:the amazing ancient Roman city of Pompeii! Since I was a child I have walked through streets, shops, taverns, houses, theaters, thermal baths that are more than 2,000 years old. From the beginning I have focused my career on children's tours because what a child leaves behind is something unique. I love their curiosity. I love seeing the wonder in their eyes. With my license I work all around the bay of Naples,not only in Pompeii,but also in Naples,in the speechless Old town of Naples, in its museums, all around the Sorrento and Amalfi Coasts and on the isle of Capri. Overview of your Naples tour
The tour will start from one of the ports of Naples or Salerno where you will arrive. The driver will pick you up at the ship, at the time we will agree on the day before the tour. We are going to meet in Pompeii. Considering that we must have all the time necessary to visit both Pompeii and Herculaneum, the meeting point cannot be later than 8:15 in the morning. We’ll start with a two and half hour Pompeii tour and , then , we’ll go t straight to Herculaneum for 2 more hours of tour, after a short break in Pompeii for grabbing something.
