Ciao! My name is Chiara, which means clear, that's why I'm a very "clear guide" to visit Napoli! I was born there, in the heart of the historical center and I grew up here, so I'm 100% Neapolitan! I'm expert about history, art, traditions, archeology, good food, and traditional folk dances! I enjoy spending my free time travelling and studying ancient history, especially about Pompeii. Overview of your Naples tour
It's a great idea to visit the famous archeological site combined to climb on the top of the Mt Vesuvius to understand well the eruption of 79 AD and how Pompeii was destroyed and better with an expert about history, art and archeology like me, graduated in Conservation of Cultural Heritage The volcano is located into a National Park flourishing of flora and fauna where are produced the best quality of vegetables, nuts and vineyards of the Campania. We'll visit the traditional Cameo Factory where you'll have a demonstration how they made jewels using an ancient technic. We will see the Mt Vesuvius and the last 200 mts we'll have to walk to reach the crater where you'll have a breathtaking view of the bay of Naples with its islands. In Pompeii you' ll have a short free time before visiting the ruins and going around the archeological site where you'll feel like jumping back in time to the 1st century AD and contemplate all the most important public buildings, shops, thermal bath and private houses.
