Ciao! My name is Chiara, which means clear, that's why I'm a very "clear guide" to visit Napoli! I was born there, in the heart of the historical center and I grew up here, so I'm 100% Neapolitan! I'm expert about history, art, traditions, archeology, good food, and traditional folk dances! I enjoy spending my free time travelling and studying ancient history, especially about Pompeii. There are continuously new things to know and learn! I'm graduated in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, specialized in Restauration of Photographs that is why I collaborated for a couple of years with some photographic archives. I worked in the didactic section of the "Museo del Tesoro di San Gennaro" too, and organized temporary exhibitions. Overview of your Naples tour
This is a real full immersion in the Neapolitan culture, up&down through the city, to learn the history of Naples as you make street food and pastries tasting. The itinerary goes throught the old historic center and shows the secret undergrounds of the city. Thanks to the walking through the straight and narrow street called "Spaccanapoli", that means "Split Naples", admire ancient buildings, charming churches and typical stores of local products. Visit the famous road of nativity scenes that welcomes thousands of tourists to its historic crib art stores. Descend into the underground of San Lorenzo Maggiore, and walk along ancient roads. Then stroll around the crowded Tribunali Road until you reach the Basilica of Pietrasanta. Here you can find the entrance of the second underground path that shows the Greek Roman Aqueduct with its cisterns then used during the Second World War as air-raid shelters. The last stop will be in the small nice "Bellini Square" to see the ancient Greek city-walls.
