A Neapolitan by birth, a Tour Guide by heart. I was born and raised in Napoli, and have 20 years of experience in Campania's receptive tourism. Captivated by culture and beauty, I started out in a travel agency, then acquired a Tour Leader license and finally qualified as an Official Tour Guide. After a few years behind a desk, I realized that my place in the world was alongside real people, exploring my beautiful land. I love seeing the wonder in the eyes of those who are captured by the beauty of my land. As a traveler too, I believe every trip experienced needs to be a once in lifetime moment. Napoli Bay has 2700 years of history, different dominions and cultures throughout the centuries, with signs of each present everywhere, if you know how to observe! We are a rich volcanic area, which provides us with great fertility, that has lead to our amazing quality food and great wine heritage. Plus all around, we're surrounded by culture, art, nature, archaeology, breathtaking landscapes, royal palaces & castles, museums, traditions, music, folklore and countless hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. Come around with me. Are you ready for these wonders? I have significant experience working with both individuals and groups, cruises and shore excursions, as well as with big tour operators. I have specialized for Napoli, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri, Phlaegrean Fields, Sorrento and Amalfi Coast. I may still be able to accommodate you. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Please note that I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port only through the driver. I will meet you directly at the designated meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone.

Herculaneum is a wealthy ancient Roman town built along a beautiful coastline. Its name derives from the mythological hero Hercules, reflecting its strong cultural roots and legendary origins. Smaller than nearby Pompeii, it was nonetheless buried by the same devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. The intense pyroclastic flow that engulfed the city created a unique form of preservation: carbonized wood. Unlike Pompeii, famous for its plaster casts, Herculaneum preserves remarkable organic materials wooden doors, frames, furniture, and even a boat discovered decades ago, all carbonized yet protected from natural decay by the absence of oxygen. Although a refined selection of artifacts is displayed in its museum, much of Herculaneum’s beauty lies in situ. Elegant mosaics, richly decorated villas, and finely preserved architectural details reveal the sophistication and prosperity of this ancient town.
• Once we gather, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the site from a large upper terrace. • We will visit the Boat Pavilion, where the unique capsized boat discovered beneath the eruption layers is preserved, along with fishing tools, hooks, and amphorae. • We will continue to the museum to see interior decorations and artifacts such as vases, perfume bottles, jewelry, and personal belongings found near the victims who sought refuge on the beach while waiting for rescue. • Next, we will explore the town’s luxurious homes, including the House of the Wooden Partition, the House of the Deer, and the Great Gymnasium with its large pool. • Finally, we will walk along the Maximus Decumanus and observe the pyroclastic layers along the wall that separates the ancient city from the modern town.
