I was born in Sorrento in 1965 and I have always lived there. I'm a limousine driver since 1999 as my professional driver's certificates say. I have been working with the best limousine car service companies in the area and collaborated with the most exclusive hotels in Sorrento, Positano, Naples, Capri and the Amalfi Coast. Finally, in 2004 I decided to buy the NCC (Noleggio Con Conducente - car rental with driver) license, realizing my lifetime dream to be an independent private driver! We can escort you on a private and exclusive tour of the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Sorrento etc. I will come to pick you up with full air conditioned Van which can hold 8 passengers. Because of the size of my vehicle, it means that if the tour has been booked for just 2 people and then they decide to bring other friends with them, they are free to do this without an extra charge. Please Note: I am a local tour guide in Naples and Sorrento-Amalfi Coast are, So I not do Tours In Rome city. But In case you want to do a tour in my area and you stay in Rome I can come to pick you up in Rome. Pick up in Rome is more expensive, an alternative is to take the fast train who in one hour take you in Naples and then you can do any tour from Naples. Please note. -The tours are private just for you. -the price is per vehicle, not per person. If the customer invites other friends for up to eight people no problem. There will be no additional costs required for eventual extra people I work as driver/giude from 1999, and start my own busnees in the 2004. From 2009 recommended by Frommers I am licensed "commercial driver/guide". I cannot do a guided tour of Archeological or historical sites like Pompeii, museums etc as "local city guides" do. But I am happy with telling stories and legends along the way.

Discover the most important unearthed city in the world. Pompeii will give you the feeling of living at the time of the ancient Romans, you will visit their houses, thermal baths, amphitheaters, and more. Positano instead is one of the most famous and characteristic villages of southern Italy. To get there we will drive about 13 km of the fantastic Amalfi Coast. To reach the beach, which is the most beautiful part, you will cross alleys full of shops, art galleries and artisans. Once you reach the beach you will find restaurants and bars where you can enjoy relax. While Sorrento instead will make you feel freer. In the small historic center, you can easily stroll among the shops and find items at more reasonable prices than in Positano, bags, belts and leather sandals, many will make you taste their limoncello, ice cream shops and more. Returning to Naples by sea will let you admire the Sorrento coast in a different way and arrive in Naples without traffic problems. Tour available - April to September
Angelo was professional and flexible to our groups needs. He is very knowledgable of the area and a very safe drive in these tight, curvy roads. We had some visitors in our group with ambulatory challenges and he was patient and able to give recommendations to accommodate to her needs.
Visiting Pompeii and the coast in one day would be next to impossible on your own. Angelo was wonderful and adjusted the day to your pace and liking. The person you spend the day with matters and you will enjoy your day with Angelo.
We recently booked a tour with Tour By Locals and our guide Angelo was fantastic! He was at our hotel 15 mins early which was a great start to the day! Angelo was very helpful in helping us obtain our tickets in Pompei and was very flexible when we asked him to stop to take pictures and modify our trip slightly when we wanted to take more time in Positano! Angelo was a delight and provided us with the very best day of our entire trip. He got us to Pompeii before the crowds arrived and then drove us to Positono for lunch in a very small and local resort - NO TOURISTS (except us). Then we went to Sorrento - another beautiful city on the water. After some time spent there, we caught the ferry back to our cruise ship. STUPENDOUS DAY - and all thanks to Angelo!!!!
We enjoyed our time on this tour. It was a busy time given that we visited Pompeii, Sorrento, and Positano. Angelo was helpful and informative about each area we visited. Angelo gave us plenty of opportunity to explore on our own but also did a good job of answering questions about each town particularly as we drove. This was our first time at Pompeii and we probably would have benefitted by having our guide with us throughout the site in order to learn more. Would recommend this tour.

Meet you at the pier in Naples at 8. 00 am. - We will reach Pompeii who is located between Naples and Sorrento. - Here we will spend 2 hours in the ruins of Pompeii and then after Pompeii. - Later, we will drive to Positano nicknamed the gem of the Amalfi coast where you will have free time for shopping and enjoy in the narrow street of this wonderful town, - after the visit to the village of Positano we will drive to Sorrento where you can visit the center of Sorrento: - Piazza Tasso, - the ancient center of via San Cesareo etc. - then get to the port of Sorrento where you can take the hydrofoil back to Naples at 4, 25 pm. During the tour, you have the opportunity to stop for lunch or fast snack in a local restaurant who we can suggest or wherever they prefer and stop along the coastline for taking wonderful photos. I can customize the tour to fit your preferences.
