Full Day Tour of Monopoli & Polignano a Mare

Get ready for a fun ride through the stunning landscapes of Puglia on an unforgettable tour along the Apulian coast. I used to visit this area with my family since I was a kid, so I'm intimately familiar with every corner. As a guide, I always choose places that I'm deeply connected to, so I can showcase them in a very genuine manner. This is an opportunity to get immersed in the authentic atmosphere of southern Italy surrounded by the sea, towering cliffs and unique local charm. Together will explore Monopoli, a picturesque fishing town with a rich history, and Polignano a Mare, an enchanting old town famous for its crystal-clear sea and its white houses on dramatic cliffs. Throughout our day, we'll stroll through narrow alleys and historical landmarks, taste traditional flavours and marvel at panoramic coastal views. A perfect tour for lovers of the sea and hidden treasures!

-After picking you up from an agreed on point, we'll head to Polignano a Mare. -On arrival, I'll lead you on a walking tour of the old town, where we'll contemplate scenic balconies and stop by a traditional coffee house for a sample of coffee with lemon zest or an artisanal gelato. -Next, we'll pass by the statue of the famous musician & congressman Domenico Modugno (who was a habitue of the coffee house) before we stop by the Lama Monachile stone beach. -Afterwards, we'll depart to Monopoli and go on a scenic drive along its promenade. -We'll proceed to visit its ancient harbour, followed by its historic centre, where we'll see its whitewashed houses and the Castle of Charles V. –We'll then visit the Cathedral of Maria Santissima della Madia. –At last, you'll some time to relax a bit by the sea before driving back to where I picked you up from.
