Wicklow Mountains and Kilkenny City Day Trip

Drive through the Wicklow Mountains which offer stunning views of valleys and lakes and peat Bogs. Visit the beautiful lake Lough Tay which was also known as the Guinness Lake. The Hit TV series The Vikings was also filmed here at the Lake. , We will visit the Monastic city at Glendalough which is located in the Heart of the National park. Explore the Ruins of the Cathedral and see the beautiful Round Tower and the stunning Upper Lake. From there we will drive across the Wicklow gap towards the medieval city of Kilkenny. You can visit Kilkenny castle and explore the medieval streets of Kilkenny with Time to shop if you wish. We could also visit Black Abbey which dates back to the 13th century and holds some of the most beautiful Stain Glass windows in Ireland or St Canice's Cathedral Which is one of Irelands oldest Cathedral's.

-I will collect you from your accommodation or Cruise terminal. -From there we will drive you through the Wicklow Mountains which offer stunning views of valleys and Lakes and peat Bogs. We will have photo opportunities through the mountains. -You will visit Glendalough Monastic city which is in the heart of The National park. -We will then drive through the Wicklow gap for more stunning scenery on our way to the medieval city of Kilkenny. -You will visit Kilkenny castle and have time to explore the medieval streets of Kilkenny. I will give you some time to shop. Either Black Abbey or St Cannices Cathedral. - I would be happy to recommend a lunch stop on the day of the tour if you wished also.
