This was a great tour. not something that everyone sees, but well worth it. Allowed us to see and experience a different part of India - and better appreciate that India is a large county with many different aspects to it. Did not know about Jain until this tour. The Thousand pillar temple was amazing. Alway amazed how places like this were built in 1430. Gomateshwar was a sight to behold. One comes away from the day amazed at what people were able to build and the lasting impact it has on us.
Anil showed us as much as you can see in a short day.We saw the moodabidri Jain temple and thee 42 feet high old statue. On the way back we saw the cashew nut processing factory(our request) Which was astonishing .There after we had a georgious curry lunch(our request. And on the way we received the information about the sides as well as generall info about the area and India.Thank you Anil.Your driver was fantastic and could tell us a lot as well.
The tour with Anil and his driver gave us a lot of pleasure. Both were extremely sympathetic. They showed us the most beautiful places and temples. There was a lot of interesting information. Anil answered our many questions competently and patiently. We recommend Anil and his driver as tour guides and we will definitely book them again on our next trip to India. We came as strangers and went as friends - you don't have that feeling everywhere.
